With inspiration coming from our brides and head designer Lynette Toorie along with assistant Holly Barker who coax each bride to reveal their own personality & style which is then infused into the final design . Every member of the team at Brides by Design believes that each bride truly knows what she wants and how she would like to feel on her wedding day. Our service is very personal whether it is a consultation for a made to measure, couture or off the rack gown. Our new range of off the rack gowns are selected from Australia’s leading labels and chosen for fit, design direction, quality of workmanship and affordable prices. Choosing your dress from Brides by Design guarantees it will fit correctly, flatter your body shape and fall within your original budget. As manufacturers we provide a flexibility that allows for the bride to participate in the design process enjoying an evolving process by which she can change or modify any new element she may wish to explore. Our Couture or Made to Measure gowns start with a toile (the dress made up in calico) to determine fit and any changes can be explored at this time. The next fittings allow for the gradual progress of the design through to the final fitting generally 2-4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Special allowances are made for brides intending to or in the process of loosing weight. Finally we believe the purchasing process should be fun and exciting. Not intimidating. Choosing a dress from Brides by Design allows for a pleasant interaction between designer, client and our highly skilled team of staff all working together to achieve the same end a product we all share pride and confidence in.
