Full Description: Cornucopia Museum Cafe offers you a choice of venues ideal for reception or the actual marriage ceremony.
From restaurant dining in air conditioned comfort (seating up to 100 guests depending on table configuration) fully covered verandah (seating up to 120 guests depending on table configuration) with view over the museum lawns and the Timor Sea towards the north, the different sections (A, B, C, D) of the museum lawns (up to 600 guests sit down dinner).
The museum undercroft to the west of the restaurant (fully undercover with level concrete flooring) provides room for a up to 100 guests sit down dinner or a cocktail party for up to 250 guest overlooking the Timor Sea to the north.
The museum lawns and the Maritime undercroft have to be booked through the museums booking office on 89 998 277.
Cornucopia Museum Cafe is fully licensed.
Our wine list changes regularly. Wine, beer and spirits are usually selected by the client before the function or alternatively a beverage package is available for your convenience.
Flower arrangements, balloons, dance floors, string quartets, juke box, live music, limousine hire, wedding cakes, wedding arches, additional potted plants, lighting of lawn areas are all items that can be provided by us at additional cost or can be organised by yourself.
As there is a great demand on Cornucopia Museum Cafe as a function venue, we do recommend that you confirm your booking early and book the section of museum lawns if required as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Most of the weddings we have catered for have been booked twelve months in advance.

Established in 1994 and situated in the picturesque grounds of the Northern Territory Museum and Art Gallery, Cornucopia Cafe can cater for coffee and quiet conversation, business luncheons or lunch with friends, functions for any occasion or your special day - your wedding.
We're famous for our weekend brunch! A Darwin tradition is brunch at the Cornucopia from 9am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. Enjoy eggs benedict, read your paper and sip your orange juice and champagne.
You can linger all day - continue through to lunch with a lovely bottle of wine, or cakes and coffee - you'll love it!!
For the tourist and the local alike, a visit to the Northern Territory Museum and Art Gallery is a must. This is a free venue, open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday and 10am - 5pm on weekends.
After browsing through the unique exhibits and a quick stop at the gift shop, come in and enjoy breakfast, lunch or coffee and cakes.
